Lorenzo At its foundation, a frantic technical death metal album, but that would pigeonhole it. Bringing in and throwing whatever seems like a good idea (and it is) in the mix to form a hideous amalgamation of startlingly bizarre sounds that all work perfectly together is a way to put it.

Seriously creative and brilliant music bringing sophistication, but in a unhinged and primitive way. Complex, but engaging and incredibly exciting. Plus, it is heavy as fuck too.

gnihilo Wonderful jazzy and well produced prog death. Thanks to their songwriting skills, these guys manage to keep things interesting over the whole runtime of 55 minutes. Love the bass performance!!

I'm super chuffed to announce that Dry Cough will be releasing a vinyl version of the 2021 debut album, 'Famine, Putrid and Fucking Endless', from London-based progressive death metal outfit, ATVM, this September.

Despite nestling comfortably beneath the NWOBDM banner, and sharing many a bill with fellow bands from that scene; ATVM sound nothing like any of the other UK death metal bands around right now. Whilst being unmistakably death metal, the band draws influences from a range of genres and smashes them together in a way that has created something genuinely outstanding, and more than a little unhinged.

The sheer number of memorable, fist-pumping, head banging riffs is astounding, and coupled with the playful nature of the playing, plus the ease in which they have blended so many genres into their take on death metal, ATVM have put together an album that is hugely addictive, and one that you'll be returning to time and time again.

As if the thought of this superb album finally getting a vinyl release wasn't exciting enough, then you'll be thrilled to know that this will also contain an exclusive, previously unreleased bonus track, 'Finisher Of The World'.
